What are aligners?
Why do people choose aligners?
How does ConfiDent Ortho operate?
Consultation and Intake | We will go over your medical information with you and take digital pictures, x-rays and a 3D scan of your mouth and teeth.
Make treatment plan | Based on your medical data and teeth, ConfiDent Ortho will put together a treatment plan specifically for you and go over the options with you.
Placing the aligner | To get the best effect with aligners, we place a small tooth-colored "attachment" on your teeth. You will receive a number of aligners (invisible brackets) and instructions on how to wear them.
Checkups | Usually we schedule a checkup once a month. During these appointments we make sure that your treatment is going well and we make adjustments to your aligners when necessary.
Done! | In the final step of your treatment, we remove the attachments and place a barely visible retainer to keep your teeth straight. You now have beautiful teeth thanks to the expertise of our orthodontic dentist in Amsterdam and Amstelveen.
Frequently asked questions
You must wear aligners for at least 22 hours a day. However, they can be removed while eating and when you brush your teeth.
Aligners are made of a transparent material, so they are almost invisible to others.
During an intake interview at ConfiDent Ortho, we look at your teeth to get an overall impression about the state of your teeth. During the appointment you will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options with a specialized dentist.
